Baptism?
Water baptism is a Biblical step of obedience for every person who has chosen to follow Jesus.
It does not save you. Instead, it is an outward expression of the inward transformation that has already taken place through faith in Christ. Baptism is a way of publicly declaring that you belong to Jesus and are committed to following Him.
When a believer is baptized, they are immersed in water to identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Coming out of the water symbolizes the new life we have through Him.
