God designed us to be in community with others. Small Groups create an environment where people can connect with others, be authentically known, and experience growth and life change through genuine relationships.
You don’t have to be perfect to lead a Small Group. Countless times in the Bible, God used ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Your primary role as a Small Group Leader is to help your group members move one step closer in their walk with God.

At Action Church, Small Groups are a place to find authentic relationships with like-minded people. Want a workout group? Find a group you can pump some iron! Want to study God’s word? There is a group for you! Need a break from the kids? Join a parenting group! Whatever interests you have, there is a group for you.

Small Groups meet in various locations throughout Central Florida and online. You can check out the directory for more specific locations.

Every Small Group is different, yet still offers the same key components. Small Groups can be friends having lunch, guys playing a round of golf, or people studying a book or topic of interest. All Small Groups must have these four things: fellowship with others, an activity or discussion, prayer, and a spiritual component such as a bible verse or Sunday message reflection

We have a Free Market Small Group system at Action Church. Your life is your group, so whatever you are currently doing, just do it on purpose. Small Groups are a way you connect with like-minded individuals, so do what you like to do, just with others!

Most Small Groups meet for a semester. We have a Spring (13 weeks), Summer (6 weeks), and Fall (13 weeks) semester.

We are so glad you asked! You can lead a Small Group by attending Action Steps, and by attending Small Group Leader Training at your location. Once completed, you will connect with a location representative to get your group ready!
